Volvo: 940 wentworth 2ltr turbo., head gasket leak, inter cooler

I recently had a head gasket leak and had the work done to repair. My problem is ever since my turbo has not worked.
The car runs perfectly well and there is no noise from the unit, and also no smoke. it just seems dead any ideas. I have had it back to the garage but they cant find a fault it is just not working any more. It was working fine before

Sorry no short answer, test to see if the turbo will spin. Are all the boost hoses good? Is there a hole in the inter-cooler? Is it getting oil and coolant to lub and cool?
I think you might need a better shop one that works on Volvo's. They can drive the car and see if the turbo is working and what to look at when it is not working.
