Volvo: 1980 Volvo Headlights, highbeams, headlamp

Question
I have a 1980 Volvo. I pulled the battery to charge it and then replaced it, everything in the car now works except the headlights. When you turn on the highbeams they work fine but when you turn on the regular headlights they wont work. The bulbs seam to be fine because the highs use the same bulbs as the lows do. Help...

Answer
Mike,
The headlight relay is on the rail left side under hood close to the battery. Make sure that all the wires to it are attached and tight. Make sure the wires by the left headlamp are still connected. Other problems bad grounds by battery on the body, and possible the head light switch.
