Volvo: Volvo 850 dashboard warning lights, dashboard warning lights, fuel guage

Question
When the car is started every light comes on and excpet for the oil and SRS lights they stay on. We have had battery problems which we solved by charging it up and Lambda, service, TRACS and ABS lights were on. Suddenly all the others came on. The fuel guage shows fuel and the trip computer is working, the car runs fine any ideas?

Check the charging system making sure all is working well and the battery will past the test. Replace and repair any questionable parts. Next try to wiggle the ignition key to see if that turns off the lights. The electrical portion of the switch wears out after time. If in doubt replace and retest.
