Volvo: 98 volvo s70 glt, tie rod ends, bells and whistles

I'm looking at a 98' volvo s70 with 142,000 mi. to the un trained eye everything apears to be great.thr only prob. I found is the front passenger dor won't open from the inside. and everything else seems too good to be true. he is asking $4,000.is it? what are typical problems of this vehicle. what should I lookfor?should I buy this car?

The rear main engine seal and front pump trans seals have been know to leak. Make sure that the timing belt and all the tensioners, water pump have been done. Check the brakes and rotors, the front ball joints and tie rod ends. Look at the axle boots to see that they are not broke open. See if the motor mounts are all sagged out and weak. Make sure there are not any engine or trans fault codes.
Check to see if the A/C compressor is quite and the system blows cold. Test all the inside bells and whistles to make sure they work.
