Volvo: Clicking noise from new HID bulbs, light bulbs, highbeams

Question
Hello Ray. Recently I replaced my front lights two of those inexpensive HID light bulbs you can get on eBay. The lights work great, however, from time to time I hear a clicking noise which I believe is coming due to me putting in these lights. The clicking noise is very similar to the noise that is made when you turn on your highbeams or the noise that is made when you are signalling. This noise is even made when the car is turned off. Any idea what this noise might be and whether it is damaging anything(ie. the battery).  I don't have much problem with it, but just want to make sure what it is.
Thanks!

Answer
David,
Cannot tell if your noise will cause any problems. If you feel that the problem is the lights disable them and or try to trace the noise to find it's origin. Perhaps there is too much draw electrically on the system. I have only one client that has changed headlights and he has not complained of any problems. He has a C70 99 Y/M.
