recently the car stopped running. it will turn over but it won't start. it feels like
no gas is getting to the engine. there is gas in the tank. of late the car has been
chugging and shaking when i stop at a light but it has run fine at speed. then it
would not start. could it be the fuel pump?

I put the fuel pressure gauage on, and a spark plug tester and then crank the engine watch for spark and fuel pressure. Pressure should be about 2.89 bar. I also read any codes that are stored in the fuel and ignition control units. Make sure that both in tank and main fuel pumps are running.
