Volvo: 1992 Volvo 960 emission problem, 1992 volvo 960, emmission testing

Question
On my last emmission testing, I had a high hydrocarbon reading of 272.  The limit is 275.  I want to get ready to pass my next inspection.  All other inspection readings are excellent!  What do I do to get my HC reading to a "normal" level for inspection.

Answer
Will,
H/C's are unburnt fuels, so plugs may miss fire, oil maybe contaminated with gas, injectors may be squirting and not spraying, there by needing a cleaning.
Check for a vacuum leak in the intake system, make sure the timing belt has not jumped a tooth on either cam.
