Volvo: Volvo 960 Towing, volvo 960, tow hook

Question
I have just bought a Volvo 960 as spares for my 940 It's a 92 model year and the cam belt has broken so I need to tow it home. What are the limits of towing and what will I break? (PS I know I'll need a new head, valves etc.)

Answer
Chris,
Remove the driveshaft and all should be ok. At least the rear at the differencial to keep from turning the trans tailshaft. Even better flatbed it and no problem at all, except for the Bill. There is not much to attach a tow bar to just a tow hook up front. The speed is up to how fast someone can handle the tow car.
