Volvo: Volvo, v70 wagon, design changes

Ray, I am thinking about buying a used V70 wagon, maybe 2 or 3 years old. Are there any important design changes in the past few years that I should keep in mind? Is there anything I should definitely avoid? For reliability and mileage, would you have a preference of engine? Your thoughts would really be appreciated, thanks.

The engine choice I like is the turbo. It is very powerful and strong running. By all means take the car to a shop other than the one you will buy it from and have it checked out. Have them look the car over and give you a list of things that it will need and also that have been done. Inspect it before buying it, most important!
