Hi Ray!
The drivers side wiper on my windshield (1996 850 sedan)has come loose and is at the end of it's travel (flopping at the side of the windshield) - The passenger side wiper still works. How do I get at the workings to see what needs to be replaced?

Most times the problem is the wiper arm. The hole gets stripped out and no longer mates with the linkage. The wiper arm is made of softer material then the linkage so it more likley to strip out. If you fell that you need to get at the linkage assembly, remove the black plastic cowel and you can then see the linkage.
