I have 2001VolvoS60 problems begin when ac was not blowing cold air, took to dealer, charged it then same again/ they ajusted blower door and it was cooling for 15 days then a/c line was blown off when i was driving/dealer charged system back.working fine but some time it will blow hot air some time real cold air/when blowing hot-i turm my temp control all way to heat, then bring it down to cold and cold air kiks in for next 5-10 minutes, then same again. Can you help? Masters at Winters Volvo-maybe can,but i dont wanna be their A/C coustomer for life!

Answer -
Gary,
The dealer needs to hook up your car to its test equipment and see what signals are missing from the A/C control head and control unit. If that fails ask the Service Manager to get you an appointment with the Volvo service rep for that dealer and explain the conserns you have.

Answer
Gary,
You can have the car running and move the panel controls to there various positions and make sure that they are working. You can also change blower motor speed and see that the motor increased and decreased in speed. Turn on and off the recirc and you will hear the change of the air flow as the door opens and closes. That is all one can do manually to test the controls. You need test scanners to access the system through the OBD II plug and preform further tests, or read codes.
