Answer
Jim,
You may have a flywheel pick up that is failing. The cam sensor also has a high failure rate. These can be tested with an ohm meter or Vantage. I have heard that dirty injectors have caused many unually problems and if you clean them do it twice to get out all the carbon. How are all the bellows around the throttle housing, no holes and tight? There are even cases that the injector rail leaks and can cause low pressure in the injectors. Will it start and run with carb spray?
Are there any codes that would indicate the coolant temp sensor. Sometimes the temp sensor goes out and causes a hard or no start. Also I have had a couple of cars that needed a control unit.
