Volvo: ABS Light, abs sensor, start of something

Question
Hi, I've read previous posts on here regarding the ABS light (and traction control light) coming on.

I have a 294000KM 1999 V70 XC. Recently the two lights have come on...at the same time....and only when it's rained and I've driven the car. This has happened twice. The dealer said not to run diagnostics until it stays on but maybe the start of something. This has happened twice now!
I understand it could be the abs sensor or the module? Should I have this checked out?

Second issue: I have a distinct ticking sound when I turn right. Steering does not seem to be affected and it does not tick when turning left. Any ideas? Pump?

Answer
Andrew,
See if they will read the code that might be in the system. Usually if there is a problem codes will remain in the system. Have the steering tested at the same time, an unually noise for the steering could be the sign of something going wrong. Have them test drive the car and rack it to shake the wheels and test for broken or worn bushings.
