Volvo: Volvo CD Player Stuck, warranty administrators, ups freight

Question
You may have come across my problem in earlier volvos.  I have a 52 reg S80 with a combined radio/CD player (holds up to 4 CDs). When listening to a CD I pressed the eject button to remove it - it displayed ejecting as expected but then displayed CD1 CD Error and has displayed this message error since. Whatever I do I cannot seem to clear it, eject it or get any of the CD buttons to operate.  The radio works fine but the CD player is stuck.  Can you suggest a solution to clear the fault please.

For All Audio units that are requested to be returned to TMA for Testing and Analysis.

Compact Discs may get stuck in the CD-Changer drive. If this occurs, DO NOT ATTEMPT to remove them.

Please fill out the attached CD/rape Return Form completely and legibly. The form must be visible inside the audio box.

Return the radio unit to TMA per established shipping instructions as detailed in SMB 00-170.

Upon removal, CDs will be mailed to the Retailer per the information on the CD/Tape Return Form within 2-3 weeks of receipt. The retailer is responsible for returning the CDs to owners.
Note: Audio units tampered with or opened, or damaged from foreign objects inserted into mechanism drives (eg. coins, business cards or visibly evident peeling CD-R labels) will not be covered under warranty. Claims will be rejected and the unit and removed CDs will be returned via UPS freight collect.

IMPORTANT Please wait for the TMA return request before returning these units. Please ensure that all TMA Warranty claims, TMA Warranty Core reports and the new CD/Tape Form are included with the unit.
