My 1998 Volvo S70 Speedometer and Odometer Stopped working...then started up again and stopped again yesterday?  Is there a loose connection I could get to without involving a mechanic?  Thanks.

You can remove the instrument cluster and see if there are loose wires on the cluster. However my guess is the speedo head is failing and will need replacement. If you have a scanner go into the body section and select the COMBI and run a test via the scanner to see if will operate the speedo. There should also be faults that will be listed and those might leed you to the problem.
