Volvo: C70 not starting and hazard lights on, hazard lights

Question
Hi, the car is a C70 1996 120K miles. It has hazard lights ON and would not start. I don't have a remote for lock and unlock and only one ignition key from the dealer. Please help.

Answer
Adrian,
Well now what happens? You turn the key and nothing happens, is the car in Park? Maybe the battery is to low and does not have enought power to operate the starter. The key will not turn in the ignition, bad switch, or lock. You can not turn off the alarm(because of no remote)and the started interlock will not allow the car to start. Try and cycle the key you have in the left front door lock to turn off the alarm.
