Volvo: Remote keyless, volvo specialist, keylessride

Hello Jimmy,
Since I lost my key and keyless remote for my Volvo S70 (1997), I found one in KeylessRide which is looks like mine. I would like to check whether the programming can be done by myself or have to send back to local Volvo? Besides, I found any keyless remote which is also fit for S70 with a additional red button, what is the function of that button?

Hello Stanley! Are you sure about the year and model of your car? The S70 came out in 98. If you have a 97 model year, you have an 850. The programming is different for each one. The S70 required special tools. A dealer or a Volvo specialist will have to program it for you.
