Volvo: 1991 volvo 740 AC dash board switch, volvo 740 turbo wagon, volvo repair

I think the air conditioning switch in the dashboard of my 1991 Volvo 740 turbo wagon is bad.  Problem is, I can't figure out how to get it out of the dash board.  Can you give me some advice on how to do this.

not sure of later models, usually the dash board components need to be pryed off, but check to see if there are little plastic covers with screws behind them, the screws need to be removed if there are any. it's a good idea to invest in a volvo repair manual from most auto parts stores, or the library usually has them, you can get advice from brickboard.com (someone from this site will know for sure-lots of very helpful/very skilled volvo owners); or get a volvo manual at volvotechinfo.com -- the factory website to get service manuals.
