Volvo: VOLVO S60 TEXT WINDOW, volvo s60, japan car

Question
Hi Ray, I have just imported a used 2003 Volvo S60 into New Zealand from Japan, car built in Europe and sold new in Japan. Unfortunately (for me) the instructions in the text window are in Japanese -ideally I need these instructions to come up in English. Is there a chip or something which can be installed in order for the text window to show the instructions in English and is this likely to be an expensive adjustment ?
Thanks a lot.

Answer
Dennis,
There just might be a way to change the language in your message center. Call your local dealer and see if they can make this adjustment for you. They need to use the Vida system tester and reprogram the message center. Expense will be determinded by their labor rate.
