Volvo: stalling on 2000 V70, v70 wagon, scanner system

Question
Hi there.  Recently, my 2000 V70 wagon began stalling when I stop at a stop sign or periodically if I am just stopped idling somewhere.

Primarily, it's when I pull up and press on the brakes, the rpms drop too far and the car stalls.  To keep this from happening, I've keep my right foot slightly on the gas to keep the rpm's up to about 1k and this seems to help, but needless to say, my wife can't drive it like this.

Any suggestions?  Thanks.  Tracy

Answer
Tracy,
A 2000 Y/M vehicle you need Vadis or Vida to run tests on the car.  (That is the scanner system.)It might need a new Throttle housing and or a download to correct the problem.
Find someone that will be able to do diagnosis on this car. As far as you being able to make a minor adjustment to correct this, not possible.
