Volvo: 1998 Volvo AWD XC Wagon Service light reset?, volvo awd, reset time

Could you please tell me how to reset the Service light on the dash? I know it is triggered after so many miles, but I do not need it to remind me of Service. I have owned 3 Volvo's and they all are reset differently, some under the hood, others by a button covered by a rubber gromet. I can't see to find where the V70AWD is?  Thanks.

On a 98 Y/M vehicle you will need a scanner to access the control unit and reset the counter. Someone with a scanner and proper knowlege will also be able to extend the reset time between light on intervals. I think 10k miles is the longest time between intervals. Right now it should be set for 5k.
