can and after market fuel pump work on a 1992 volvo 940 gl

Aftermarket fuel pumps do work, however I have found that at times they always don't fit right, the electrical connections have to be modified to fit and also tend not to last as long as an original BOSCH. Be sure to get the proper pump so that the pressure the pump puts out is correct.
