Volvo: Air conditioning, volvo 240 dl, volvo 240

My boss wants me to put a compressor on his sons' car,which is a 87 volvo 240 dl. The a/c hasen't worked for some time. He picked up a comp. and would like me to install it. Where do I charge it up at?

On the 240 model cars the compressor has the charging ports on the the rear of the compressor. Now if he got you a 740 compressor they do not have the ports on the rear. At this point the only thing that you could do is to splice a charging fitting into the low pressure line or get another compressor with ports on it.
