Volvo: Older Volvo tuneup, fuel injector cleaner, hello bill

Question
How much would it cost for tuneup.. 1987 240dl wagon? 159000 miles . exellent car.

Answer
Hello Bill! The cost will vary depending on the shop. Labor rates are different and parts cost is different depending on who does it. Every shop wil do it differently. The cost at my shop would be around $400. That would include spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter, valve adjustment, trans service, oil change, throttle body service, fuel injector cleaner and topping off all fluids and tire pressure. Using Volvo original parts. There will be an extra cost for disributor cap, rotor and ignition wires, if needed.
