Volvo: 2003 S40 transmission light, light arrow, transmission issues

Question
I have a check engine light along with a flashing transmission light (arrow). The light came on after the car was stuck in the snow. I've never had any transmission issues and the car shifts and runs perfectly fine. I'm guessing I triggered a sensor getting the car out of the snow. Is there any way I can reset the light? Thanks.

Answer
Hello Alex! There could have been a sensor triggered from being stuck in the snow. However, you will need to see a Volvo technician to have the light reset. Special tools are needed. It is best anyway to make sure there are no other problems.
