Volvo: 01 V70 XC Keyless Entry Programming, keyless entry programming, v70 xc

I recently bought a 2001 V70 XC that came with only one Keyless Entry Remote.  I have bought a second remote but do not know how to program it without taking it to the dealer.  Could you let me know how to program it?  Thanks, Jessica

Hello Jessica! You will need a dealer or a Volvo shop to program it for you. Special tools and software is needed. The remote you bought should have come with a frequency code. All new remotes come with the code. Without it, the remote is useless.
