My volvo has just been serviced at local garage and has come back with the exhaust emission control system light on. The garage don't know why.Any ideas please!!

Hello Phil! You need to find a garage that has the proper tools to diagnose and fault trace the codes stored in the car's computer. The light is on because of a fault in the emmisions system and there will be a fault code stored in the computer.
