Volvo: 94 240 GL stopped running, rapid intervals, cranks

I have a 93 240 wagon and it stopped running while i was driving.  the engine still cranks and I have removed a plug to ensure fuel is making it to the plugs which it is.... I changed theh solinoid still no luck.  Bottom line I dont think spark there is spark.  thanks

I'm going to need a bit more information before I can help you.  The question you asked was a bit confusing.  First off, electrical current flows to the spark plugs, not fuel, so if you unplugged a spark plug while the engine was running, you should put it near the metal chasis to look for a spark between them.  Fuel gets delivered to the injectors which are on the other side of the engine.  If you unscrew one of those while the engine is running, fuel will squirt out of it on regular rapid intervals.  Could you clarify if you have no spark or if you have no fuel being delivered?
