Volvo: Shifting trouble, shift linkage, volvo dealership

Question
1991 240se automatic- The shift linkage that runs from the lever attached to the tranny to the almost vertical other shift piece broke. This piece is steel and has threads on one end (maybe both, not sure). First off, is there a specific name/part # for it? Where can I find a new one real fast? Would any good auto parts store sell it? Thanks a bunch...

Answer
I'm not sure off hand what the part number is, but to find one the quickest, I would search for a pick and pull junkyard in your area and pull a used one off another 240.  Beyond that, my guess is that you would have to order it from a Volvo dealership, local parts shops probably won't carry a part that specific.  Good luck!
