Volvo: 89 240 wiring, heater blower, dome light

This is a classic.  I changed out the heater blower motor and after I thought I was done, here is what happens.  I don't have a dome light, but when the car is running and i switch the dome light on, the open door type bell continues to sound.  I also get two beeps from the glove compartment (when opened) and no light while the car is running.  Clock only works when the car is on, and no instrument lights.  Oh!  the blower does work. PLEASE HELP ME JASON!!!  Thank You.

First, check and sand all your fuses to eliminate that as an issue.  If it doesn't help, the you probably crossed and/or severed some wires during your motor installation.  This is going to be a painful process, but you're going to have to retrace your installation step by step, all the way down to the motor itself, carefully looking at all wires you had contact with along the way to check for damage.  With a short problem as complicated as yours, it is hard to trace other than to do what I suggested.  On the other hand, it probably only has one small cause buried somewhere beneath the dash.  Good luck!
