Volvo: Buttons on Visor, volvo s80, garage door openers

I recently purchased a used 2002 Volvo S80. There are three buttons on the driver's visor numbered 1, 2, 3. Do you know what these are? I can't find anything in the owner's manual and they don't seem to operate anything.

Those buttons are designed to operate garage door openers.  They are learning devices, so you can program them to work with any model opener you might have.  I don't know the exact directions on how to program it for your opener, but a quick internet search should tell you how to do it for your particular model.
