Volvo: Replace light bulb in seat warmer switch, automotive bulbs, light bulbs

Question
I own a 1993 240 wagon with heated seats. One of the light bulbs have burned out in the switch located between the front seats. How do I open up the switch to replace the bulb without breaking something? Thanks, Richard

Answer
You're going to have to remove the center console by unscrewing several screws that attach it to the floorboards.  Once you lift out the console, you should be able to pop the buttons out from the back (they are small boxes that snap into the console).  You'll have to disconnect several wires to the bottons before you can lift the console out, so be careful.  Once you have the button in your hand, you can snap it apart and get to the pull out light bulb inside.  They are standard automotive bulbs and be found at Pepboys for a couple of bucks.  Good luck!
