Volvo: 940wagon 94 front windshield washers and wipers, wind shield, press button

Dear Jason,

The front wipers and washers do not work when I press the button. Wipers do work in normal and intermitent.
The rear washer and wiper do work.

Your wipers will only be triggered automatically when you press the spray button.  They are programmed to wipe several times on their own to clear the fluid you just sprayed on the wind shield.  If the wipers don't come on when you press the button, but they do when you use them normally, then the only problem is probably the press button for the sprayer.  I would take apart the arm and see if a wire has broken off, or if the button has gotten dirty.  Good luck!
