Volvo: Volvo 850 heater, climate control system, front seat driver

Question
Jimmy -
It's winter again here in DC and once again my 1997 850 T5 leaves my feet cold while doing a wonderful job of warming everything else. It has never put out any heat toward the front seat driver's or passenger's feet, no matter what dial setting it's on, and believe me I try them all every year. Is it designed that way? If not, what might be wrong?

Answer
Hey Bill! It is not designed that way. There is a problem in the climate control system. Any Volvo dealer should be able to diagnose the system easily. There could be an issue with a damper motor or possibly the Climate Control Module. If the dealer can't help you, tehn find a Volvo shop that can.
