Volvo: To Buy or Not To Buy, warranty dealer, annapolis maryland

Question
Just found this site and not sure if my question is relevant. It's not a matter of service. My wife and I are looking at a used S60 2.4 Turbo (2001) with about 39,210 miles on it, here in Annapolis Maryland.  Comes with Volvo Certified Warranty. Dealer wants $20,500 for the car. They told us they paid $16,430 for it at auction. Plus the money they put in to certify it. It's in excellent shape and we like it, but think the price is too high. Also, are there any issues with the Turbo engine we should be concerned about? Any advice would be valued.
Thanks very much!

Answer
Hello Pete! That price sounds about right for a "certified" S60. That is a good car. I would make sure that it has been maintained properly. Although, with the certified warranty, if something does go wrong you should be covered. I wouldn't be too concerned about the turbo. It is a great running engine when maintained correctly.
