Volvo: cold start, cam shaft, start the car

Question
Well I have a 940 Turbo, Turbo has been removed.  I repalced filter and fuel pump. Still have hard time when cold fresh start. The car has 162,000 and is a 1992.

Answer
Has the problem been around since you've removed the turbo?  It doesn't seem wise to run a turbo engine without its turbo, as they came with different compression, different fuel delivery, and a different cam shaft.  I'm not sure what if anything can go bad running without a turbo, but it doesn't seem wise.  Beyond that, I would check your injectors, especially the cold start injectors.  Those can get clogged, and make it hard to start the car when cold.  Good luck!
