Volvo: Volvo C70, car reliability, volvo c70

Hey Jimmy,
I'm about to buy my first car and I really love Volvo's. And I really want a convertible. Can you tell me about this car? Reliability? Is it good on gas? Expensive to fix? Just anything that would help me decide if I'll be able to afford this car. I'm thinking about getting a used car, maybe a '96-'99.

Hello Felicia! I would stay awy from the early C70 convertibles. If you must have one, get a later model 2000 or up. Personally, I am not a big fan of the C70 convertible. Although, the later models are better. Whatever you buy, make sure a Volvo technician checks it out before you take it home!
