Volvo: volvo rear deck speaker replacement, interior panel, rear deck

I would like to upgrade the rear deck speakers in our 1999 S70. Can you tell me the proper way to remove the interior panel(s) on the rear deck in order to do this?

Hello Phil! The rear hat shelf comes off by folding down the rear seats, loosen and move the plastic clips and gently pull up. It is held in with plastic clips. Be careful not to break them. You will also have to guide the seat belts out of the slots.
