Volvo: Volvo XCV70 AWD TURBO 2001 BIG PROBLEM, wheel bearings, volvo service

Question
I recently had my car just stop in traffic to move no more. Once
at delership was told the transmission failed. New transmisson
was installed, Vehicle does not seem to shift smoothly into gear
mainly at lower speeds 1-45mph. Vehicle is also very noisy now.
I took the vehicle back to a delership(Volvo) service where
transmission was replaced with a brand new one . My vehicle has
been there for a whole day now and they will not address yet the
shifting problem yet but tells me the noise is the wheel bearings.
I don't think this is the problem since the noise only started after
tranmission was replaced.

Answer
Hello! There could be a problem with the wheel bearings. It is very common. Although, it seems strange that the noise was there after the repairs. There could be a software upgrade to help improve shifting. I would ask the dealer about it. I'll be here if you need more help.
