Volvo: 95 850 turbo wagon, volvo specialist, turbo wagon

Question
Hey jimmy, I have the 95 850 turbo wagon, and the tripmeter does not work on it and obviously the tachometer doesn't work either, the speedo does though, I've had the cluster out but found it was electronic...? What could it be. also whats the easiest way to get the starter motor out? thanks..dean

Answer
Hello Dean! You may need to replace the circuit board for the instrument panel. The new one will need to be programmed properly before it will work. A dealer or a Volvo specialist should have the right tool to program it. Try removing the fan and shroud. it will give you more room to get the starter out.
