Volvo: Power loss, fuel pump, fuel system

I was driving my 94016v 2.3(1993) when all of a sudden it
lost power and the engine died. The battery is fully charged, fluid levels are fine, and fuses
are fine. I suspect the fuel system. Can you help?

I'm going to need a bit more information to help.  Did the engine slowly get worse and then die, or was it only a few seconds between a loss in power and it finally quiting?  Does it turn over readily now, but just not catch?  A few things to check are the fuel pump (make sure it still works), and the filter (sometimes things get caught and interrupt the supply.  The best way to check is pull an injecter hose out while cranking the engine to see if it is still squirting fuel.
