Volvo: power antenna, power antenna, 1994 volvo 940

The other day driving into a parking ramp I found that the antenna to my 1994 Volvo 940 was snapped off.  :(    I am in the process of sourcing one and then work on replacement.

As I check junk yards - what models and years power antenna will work in my 940?

Are there tricks to taking out the old and installing a replacement?

Hello Carl! Any year 740 or 940 antenna will fit. I don't know if you have a wagon or sedan. They will not interchange. You may be able to get away with replacing the mast. A new mast may cost around 40 dollars. There are really no trick to replacement. I hope this info helps.
