Volvo: Overall reliability/common problems w/ S70, window switches, s70 glt

I'm considering purchasing a 1998 S70 GLT w/ 83000 miles. Could you tell me what are the most common issues with this model in terms of repair and how expensive these repairs usually are? Thanks.

Hello Steve! The S70 is a great car. Although, you can expect to replace alot of bulbs, window switches and other switches throuout the car. There were also a few recalls for that model. I would have a qualified Volvo technician check it before you buy. Also check with a local dealer to make sure all recalls have been done. The 60k and 70k services can be a litte expensive.Make sure they were done.  Get as many service records as you can find. I hope this info helps.
