Volvo: Volvo stalling, fuel pump relay, volov

Question
Hello Jimmy.
I have 2 Volov wagons(a 91-240 ~70K miles, and a 92-740 ~ 170K miles)
Within the last 4 months, both of the cars are stalling intermittently and it really becoming wearisome.
Sometimes I can drive the car for 20 minutes and it occurs, sometimes it doesn't happen at all.
Sometimes, when it stalls, if I keep my foot on the gas, and wait about 10 seconds, it kicks back in. Other times the engine stops completely, and I have to wait 5-10 minutes before I can restart it. It's almost as if something gets overheated and cuts the flow of fuel to the engine. Hope you can help because I'm about to sell both of these cars.

Thanks.

John

Answer
Hello John! Unfortunately, that can be caused by many things. The most common cause is the fuel pump relay or the ignition module. It is best to get the car checked out though. You need to know if ti si fuel or spark that is cutting out. I hope this info helps.
