Volvo: volvo 164E, electric fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator

Question
Runs ok when cold, when driven at highway speeds and then comes to stop, it has a hard time idling?

I have been told that my fuel pump is NOT putting out enough pressure...later others told me that the electric fuel pump either works or doesn't..which is it?

How do calibrate a speedometer?

Thanks

Allan

Answer
Hello Allan! I have dig deep into the memory banks for this one! I would check the fuel pressure regulator. It is located in the fuel rail near the injectors. It may need to be adjusted or replaced. Also, check the injector seals. It is possible that the pump may be weak, but I would start there. I'm not sure about calibrating the speedo. I hopr this info helps. I'll be here if you need me!
