Volvo: Dash Lights, fuse box, fault trace

1995 Volvo 850 Turbo

Dash lights went out Saturday.  Friday they were fine. I have checked the slider (brightness) and it has no effect on the dash lights.  I checked fuses and did not see one open (no good).  Could it be a relay? I know there are several relays next to the fuse box, but which one, and how would you know?

Hell Steve! There may be a fuse you are overlooking. I would check all the fuses again. There could also be a problem with the headlamp switch or the dimmer switch. There is no real easy fix. The best thing to do is fault trace the dash light circuit to properly diagnose it.
