Volvo: 2000 S80 Spring seats., volvo service, spring seats

I'm a handy person and pretty much can do anything if given the step by step instructions on how to do it. I've noticed that my spring seats are cracked. I took it to the Volvo service dept. and was told that it was indeed cracked. It would really be very heplful and nice of you if you can tell me the step by step procedure on how I can change those spring seats for my 2000 S80 Volvo by myself.

Hey Joey! Replacing spring seats can be a dangerous job if you are unfamiliar with it. You will need special tools to do the job such as the Volvo spring compressors. I would leave the job to a qualified Volvo technician with the correct tools.
