Volvo: V70 Fuel gauge, fuel gauge, volvo dealer

Question
Hello!
I've got a problem in my V70 2001, when i fill up the computer says it's about 750 km to empty tank, and for the first 150 km's its about the same, then it starts dropping, so when the tank is empty the computer says it's another 150 km's left. The analog fuel gauge then stops sligthly over the red mark when the tank is empty. Is there any way to calibrate this?

Answer
Hi,
Yes, there is a calibration way, but it is possible via computer (Volvo Aftersales Dignostic Information System - VADIS) that can be found in a Volvo Dealer only. There is Software to calibrate it. It will be downloaded to the Driver Information Module and the problem can be solved.

GoodLuck...Regards...
