Volvo: Lambda Light on, usa market, lambda

Hi Jimmy
My Lambda light came on 2 days ago on my 1995 850 t5 estate the light stayed on for the duration of my journey then when I started the car later it had gone out, but today while driving slowly about town it came back on again
the car is driving perfectly and starts well etc

Hello Jonee! That light is not part of the USA market. I would assume it is the same as the "check engine light". It means there is a problem somewhere in the emmisions system. It is best to have it checked by a qualified Volvo technician. I hope this info helps.
