Driving & Driving Test Tips: Getting permit, wheel experience, drivers ed

Ok in Texas when you go to drivers Ed and take the test to get your permit do you get behind the wheel experience or do you just take the test and pass and get your permit and drive with your parent first because I have seen videos of kids with there permit and some of them don't even know which one the gas pedal is

No matter what route you take you need experience to drive safely.  So it is best to become familiar with the vehicle you will be driving, drive with a person that is an experienced driver (usually a parent or guardian) and don't drive if the conditions are not safe.
